Lyndon Poskitt, Dakar 2013 finisher and head of Lyndon Poskitt Racing, will be joining the RMS / Rally Pan Am / ICO Racing team for the Baja Rally in September. Poskitt, who posted an impressive top 10 stage at Dakar, is shipping two LPR Factory KTM Rally motorcycles to the states and will be joined by teammate Yuji Shinohara of Japan.
“For me the choice of support was easy. No other team in North America has the rally experience and capabilities of Rally Management Services” says Poskitt, a 37 year old aerospace engineer from the United Kingdom. “Dave and his team have raced in rallies around the world and know what it takes to get competitive riders to the finish,” adds Poskitt about RMS owner and Rally Pan Am Team Manager, Dave Peckham.

Poskitt will be joining the current #1 plate holder and Rally Pan Am team rider, Scott Bright. Bright will be back in 2015 to defend his title. Bright and his teammate, Ian Blythe, are America’s most promising privateers, set to tackle the 2016 Dakar Rally in January. RMS is the only US motorcycle team heading to the Dakar Rally this year, and it will be the team’s 11th time at the world's most grueling race.
Poskitt, also the star of web TV show “Races To Places”, will be including the Baja Rally in his ride around the world from race to race on his KTM rally bike. “Sticking to the unbeaten track, I aim to travel over 100,000 miles, over 50 countries and cross 6 continents” adds Poskitt. The Baja Rally should provide an excellent backdrop for an episode.
In addition to Poskitt, Bright, Blythe, and Shinohara, the RMS team will be supporting more than a dozen riders from the US, UK, Canada, and Japan. RMS is dedicated to growing the sport of rally in North America and has been the largest team at the Baja Rally since it’s inception.
