KTM 2008-2010 Rally Moto Kit "Dakar Kit"

A proven but inexpensive rally kit that fits the 2008-2010 KTM 530, 450, 505, and 400.  This is the same kit used by Ned Suesse, #81 in the 2012 Dakar Rally and supported by the RMS assistance crew.  We know that this kit works and lasts!  Some things that we particularly like about this kit:  No low exhaust pipe and no fuel pump are necessary.  This eliminates many potential problems.  Yes, the fuel is held a bit higher and further forward than in the Mecasystem kit.

Ned proved that you don't need an expensive kit to race the Dakar.  This kit uses tested and proven components and tries to keep everything as simple as possible:  a perfect recipe for a long rally race.  This kit was developed by Chris Vestal and others.

Oversize, braced radiators.  Contact ICW.  They can make some very robust and big radiators for your race bike.  Custom work at an off-the-shelf price.  We've used them on many Dakar bikes, including the KTM 690RR that won Stage 7 of the 2009 Dakar ridden by Jonah Street.
